Chevrolet has begun a new program with The Weather Company around the channel's “Hero Next Door” show, an online series that features people who have helped out in severe weather situations. The series includes six 2-3 minute episodes, with a new one launching every two weeks starting Sept. 16 through the end of the year, according to the automaker and the channel.
Through the end of October people can nominate a "hero next door," anyone who had an impact on the community during a meteorological event from hell. The hero who wins gets the act recreated on the channel and on weather.com.
