Ralphs, Stater Brothers and Vons are some of the popular grocery store chains in the western United States, but would you purchase a tablet manufactured from one of these stores? Tesco, one of Britain's largest retail grocery store chains, unveiled its first tablet computer Monday in an aim to boost revenue and call attention to sales. When Tesco releases Hudl on Sept. 30, the tablet will have a 7-inch high-definition screen. It will retail for about $238, and will run on Google's Android Jelly Bean operating system. The biggest difference between food stores in United States vs. Europe is the amount of technology and innovation that goes into services, supply chains and distribution of goods. Now all the company needs is an ad platform to serve more consumer product goods ads.
