Politico is launching
Politico Pro Trade on Wednesday, joining Pro Education and Pro Agriculture as the third policy coverage area introduced this fall. Joining the team is Senior
Trade Reporter Doug Palmer, who reported for Reuters for the past 15 years. Jason Huffman, who also serves as the editor of Pro Agriculture, will lead the team. Pro Trade will focus on two major
negotiations that could influence every major U.S. industry: the Trans-Pacific Partnership and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership. The team will also cover trading relations with
China, intellectual property, cyber property and the electronic and auto industries.
