Truckside Ads

  • January 11, 2001
Atomic Outdoor Media, Inc. has partnered with Anderson News Company. Through the agreement, Atomic will be equipping certain types of vehicles within the Anderson News fleet with a patented aluminum framing system to deliver truckside advertising. The benefit to advertisers is that the Anderson News vehicles travel to the majority of all grocery store, drug store and mass merchandising chains, as well as to all major airports. The agreement , company officials said, offers advertisers "Pinpoint Marketing" delivering messages to a specific target market or geographical area. Due to the nature of Anderson News' business, trucks are uniquely positioned to draw the advertisers' message "At" the point of sale instead of "Near" the point of sale. Atomic will manage truckside ads on certain types of Anderson News trucks in the Western United States, Hawaii, and other select markets beginning in the first quarter of 2001.
