TV Talk Inks Deal With iHeartRadio

TV Talk, a new television-program-focused podcast producer, has inked a deal to create a station on Clear Channel’s iHeartRadio digital radio service.

The Columbus, Ohio-based TV Talk, which offers up to 20-minute podcasts for each episode of some 50 TV shows, is now available to some 60 million iHeartRadio listeners.

Clear Channel’s iHeartRadio is a free, digital music service giving users access to more than 1,500 live radio stations from across the country, as well as offering user created stations around a favorite artist or song.

TV Talk targets its TV show podcasts to morning commuters -- the next morning after a TV show airs, with podcasts available for smartphones, tablets, PCs and in-car entertainment systems.

TV fan-focused podcasts allow users to listen to TV episode recaps and record comments, as well as listen to what others TV show fans are saying.

TV Talk will now be available on iHeartRadio.com/talk, the iHeartRadio app; or via the free TVtalk app. TV Talk will also start up one-minute highlight segments created for iHeartRadio Talk’s “Daily Pulse” show.

iHeartRadio has now grown beyond 30 million users. Clearly an easy distribution source for TV Talk.
