WPP's QUISMA Absorbs Sister Shop Outrider

WPP’s digital shop QUISMA has absorbed sibling agency Outrider, a Stockholm-based search marketing specialist. Outrider will be known as QUISMA Sweden going forward.

The rebranded agency will continue to be run by Managing Director Jens Hard.

Outrider, which now has 24 employees, and currently claims 150 clients and annual revenues of approximately $30 million, was founded in 2007.

The Stockholm office marks the fourth country that QUISMA has expanded to this year. Previously the shop launched outposts in Russia, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Ronald Paul, Global CEO QUISMA, stated, “For our first move into the Nordics we were looking for an equally innovative and established partner and I am thrilled that one of the top digital agencies in Sweden is now a part of our network.”

Headquartered in Munich, QUISMA was founded in 2001 and became a member of GroupM in 2007. With the addition of Outrider QUISMA now has 18 offices in 16 countries with a total of 320 employees.

Outrider’s Hard stated that “We have decided to become part of the global QUISMA network in order to take the next step in our development and particularly to improve cross-channel optimization.”
