HTC's U.S. Market Share Slides

Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC Corp. needs better U.S. marketing than even Iron Man can provide, as its share fell from July to October. In August HTC hired actor Robert Downey Jr. to be the spokesperson for an advertising campaign comprising TV, digital and in-cinema. comScore said it's a non starter: U.S. market share for the number-four mobile device brand fell to 6.7% at the end of October from 8% in July.
