Simulmedia Gains $25M In Funding

  • December 10, 2013
Simulmedia, a targeted television advertising company, closed a $25 million Series D round of funding led by new investor Valiant Capital. Others participating are R&R Venture Partners and existing investors, including Avalon Ventures, Union Square Ventures and Time Warner Investments. "Simulmedia became profitable this quarter for first time, as audience-based buying on TV went from 'interesting concept' to large-scale testing," says Rich Levandov, a partner at Avalon Ventures. "and buyers are now building it in as part of their core TV media strategies." Simulmedia, Inc. operates the Simulmedia Audience Network, a data-driven audience network for television.
