Mobile messager WhatsApp now boasts 400 million monthly active users – up from 200 million April. “Just as stable as the user growth has been actual engagement,” Bloomberg reports.
“Today, users send an average of roughly 40 messages each per day on WhatsApp -- the same number they were sending back in June.” WhatsApp CEO Jan Koum tells Bloomberg that the
startup’s steady growth is largely due to its “focus on messaging.”
