Peter Mayer hired Michelle Edelman as vice president, strategy and planning, to lead the firm's strategy and planning team. Most recently, she was president and director of communications planning at NYCA, a boutique firm in San Diego. Prior to that, she served as managing partner, director of planning and brand stewardship at Ogilvy & Mather in Chicago and worked as senior vice president/chief planning officer at Leo Burnett USA. She has worked on the strategic direction for brands such as Huggies, Allstate, Quiznos, Motorola, EarthLink, DIRECTV, Sun Microsystems and the San Diego Visitors & Convention Bureau.
