Google said it released a data compression feature for its Chrome mobile Web browser that allows users to reduce the data use on smartphones and tablets. The goal is to save money on monthly cell
phone bills or data plans. The feature is one of several new additions coming to the Chrome browser, per TechCrunch, which says Google plans to roll out the features in app updates in the iTunes App
Store and Google PlayStore during the next few days.
