Boston TV icons Susan Wornick and Bob Lobel may be going digital. The once-married broadcast veterans are considering hosting a talk show on digital cable-TV affiliate Me-TV, Wornick told the Boston Herald in an interview published Monday.

Wornick, who is set to retire from Boston ABC affiliate WCVB on Friday after 33 years on the air, told the Herald's Gayle Fee that she and Lobel have been talking about a talk show that would appear in 30-second segments around commercial breaks on the network, which airs classic TV series from the '60s, 70's and '80s. She added that she and Lobel have already shot a pilot of the show. 

Lobel, who happens to be the second of Wornick's four husbands, is best known for his nearly 30-year stint as a sportscaster for Boston CBS affiliate WBZ. He left the station in 2008. Despite their divorce in the '80s, the two have reportedly remained good friends.

Based in Chicago, Me-TV is owned by Weigel Broadcasting Co. and distributed by MGM Television. The station signed an affiliation agreement with WCVB and its owner, Heart Television, in 2008.
