Just so everyone is clear on the matter, WhatsApp founder and CEO Jan Koum says selling his company to Facebook won’t affect its data-collection policy. "Make no mistake: our future partnership
with Facebook will not compromise the vision that brought us to this point," Koum explained in a new blog post. “WhatsApp doesn't currently collect information about its users' name, email
address, home address, birthday, location, employment or interests,” The Hill’s Hillicon Valley blog reports.
