Trying to appease the social media gods and put the whole #CancelColbert saga behind him, Stephen Colbert had Twitter co-founder Biz Stone on his show, this week. “Colbert did not get the apology he expected from Stone, but he did get help in another way,” Mediaite reports. To remedy the situation … Stone pulled out his Twitter ‘kill switch,’ which he proceeded to use to delete the @ColbertReport account [the one responsible for sending out a very offensive tweet the other week] once and for all.”
