The Government is to move as "swiftly as possible" to ban branded packaging on cigarettes. The announcement follows a review at the end of last year which concluded that such a move would have a very
positive impact on curbing the number of young smokers. Health campaigners have welcomed the move. The tobacco industry is warning it will provide a boon for counterfeiters.
