Britain's major social media success story is back on track. Bebo is to be reborn as a video equivalent of WhatsApp its British founder, Michael Birch, has revealed. Having sold the social network to
AOL for $850m in 2008 he recently brought it back for just $1m. He concedes that users have moved on to other social networks and so yesterday Bebo was relaunched as Blab. The new service allows users
to send short video messages to contacts, regardless of whether they have the app.
