consumption as it continues to serve the explosive growth of the Internet. As part of its effort to conserve, Google's main centers in European -- St. Ghislain, Belgium, Hamina, Finland, and Dublin,
Ireland -- recently gained ISO 50001 certification, which means the company must adhere to a strict auditing process by continually monitoring the way the centers use energy.
