AudienceScience Taps Hochberg From AOL To Lead Data And Publisher Partnerships

AudienceScience, an ad tech provider which partners directly with brands, on Monday announced the appointment of Jeff Hochberg as vice president of business development.

The company has a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that allows advertisers to programmatically buy ads without using a trading partner, such as a demand-side platform (DSP).

In his new role, Hochberg will oversee AudienceScience’s data and publisher partnerships that fuel the platform.

“Our advertisers are increasingly bringing their ad-buying technology in-house, and we want to ensure that they’re able to leverage the best inventory and data partners when they work with AudienceScience,” stated CEO Mike Peralta. “Jeff brings deep experience on the publisher and agency sides, so his perspective will be valuable in helping us evaluate the best partners for brand advertisers.”

Hochberg was most recently vice president of sales for AOL's Audience Targeting product suite, per a release. Previously, he served as Northeast regional vice president of sales for Advertising.com.
