Marketers Increasing Twitter Budgets

More than half of marketers (57%) are spending at least 50% more on Twitter marketing this year compared to last year, a study by SocialBro has found. One in seven (15%) reported that their Twitter spend is set to triple. The research coincides with Twitter's quarterly results showing a 125% increase in advertising revenue. The main appeals of the channel were identified as it working in real-time, by 75% of respondents, and its ability to spread viral messages, 66%.
