BIZ DEV: Bissell Consolidates Creative, Media Work At Olson

BISSELL Homecare named Olson its agency of record following a review. The agency will handle creative, media, strategy, digital, PR, social and analytics duties. Work was previously split between creative agency Cramer-Krasselt and media agency PHD. BISSELL, which expects to spend $30 million annually on paid media, sought to consolidate work in an effort to make its marketing campaigns more integrated. "It was important for us to find an agency that could handle all of the aspects of an integrated campaign, and Olson's ability to provide an integrated solution with strong analytics helped them stand out," said Theresa Junkunc, director of marketing communications for BISSELL. BISSELL spent $25.1 million on measured media in 2013, up from $22.4 million spent in 2012, according to Kantar Media.
