Mechanica was named branding agency for Nuance Communication's Document Imaging Division. The account was previously handled by local agencies on a project basis. The agency will create positioning
and integrated creative and media plan strategies for the launch of a new product in the Document Imaging Division. New work will launch next month. Nuance spent $10.3 million on measured media in
2013, down from $12 million spent in 2012, according to Kantar Media.
