Despite denials by publisher Joe Pan to MediaPost last October, the Pasadena Weekly was indeed up for sale and has been sold by the L.A. Times to Ventura Newspaper Inc., the publisher of the weekly
Ventura County Reporter, for an undisclosed sum.
