It may not have won over Coldplay, but Spotify has revealed it now has 10m paying subscribers and 40m active month users. The figures are the first update since the music streaming service announced
it had 24m active users and 6m subscribers in March 2013. Nevertheless, the company faces stiff competition from Deezer, Google Play All Access, Xbox Music, Sony's Music Unlimited and Apple is on the
verge of completing a deal to buy Beats Music.
