Vimeo has brought on Peter Gerard as its new director of audience development and content operations. Gerard is the founder and former CEO of Distrify, a video-on-demand service and online social
movie marketing banner. In his new role, Gerard will be expected to drive the distribution and sales of Vimeo on-demand titles, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
