Jamie McGarry was named vice president, director of business development at DDB Chicago. In her new role, McGarry will be responsible for pursuing new business with a focused, strategic approach to growth for the agency. She will report to Paul Gunning, chief executive officer of DDB Chicago. McGarry joins DDB from O'Keefe Reinhard & Paul (OKRP), where she was responsible for building the start-up agency's brand roster by winning and onboarding clients including Big Lots, Orbitz and Turtle Wax. Prior to that, she spent more than 10 years at FCB Chicago. McGarry is part of a new executive team at DDB Chicago. Her announcement follows the appointment of Paul Gunning as chief executive officer and John Maxham as chief creative officer.
