LiveRail, a video advertising supply-side platform (SSP), on Friday announced the opening of a new office in Hamburg, Germany. The company has appointed Christoph Benning as managing director, DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

Benning has held similar roles at other companies and is familiar with the DACH region. He was previously managing director, DACH, at MediaMind (now Sizmek). Prior to that, he was sales director, DACH, at DoubleClick.

“The substantial growth of programmatic video across EMEA coupled with our current client base in the DACH region, solidified that now is the right time to establish a local presence in the market,” stated Yoav Arnstein, GM, EMEA at LiveRail. Benning will report to Arnstein.
