Questions Arise Around How the CIA Accessed a Whistleblower Email Critiquing the Agency's Procedures

The CIA recently accessed a private email exchange sent between a whistleblower and a member of Congress who heads up whistle blowing cases, raising questions as to whether or not the security agency is illegally reading whistleblower emails. The email at stake involved allegations which claimed that CIA inspector general David Buckley failed to properly investigate agency retaliation against an official who was raising issue with the CIA's enhanced interrogation techniques.
