Joe Earley has been named to chief operating officer of Fox Television Group. He had been chief operating officer for Fox Broadcasting. Also David Madden has been named president of entertainment Fox Broadcasting Company; he had been president of Fox Television Studios.
Newman and Walden took over recently with new titles — chairmen/chief executive officers of Fox Television Group — which combines Fox Broadcasting and Fox TV production unit.
Newman and Walden have led 20th Century Fox Television,
Fox’s TV production unit, for a number of years. This occurred after the departure in July of Kevin Reilly as chairman of entertainment of Fox Broadcasting.
Both Earley and Madden will
report to Newman and Walden.

Earley had been responsible, most recently, for driving marketing strategy for “Sleepy Hollow,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “The Following,” “New Girl” and “Glee.”
Madden has overseen all of the studio’s scripted and unscripted programming, as well as finance, operations and marketing divisions. He was responsible for “The Americans,” “The Killing,” “White Collar” and “Graceland,” as well as “Complications,” which will have its series debut first quarter of 2015.
