The Los Angeles Times has sold the Pasadena Weekly, a community newspaper with 35,000 free circulation serving the city of Pasadena and surrounding communities, to Ventura Newspaper Inc. The terms of
the transaction were not disclosed. The Times acquired The Pasadena Weekly through its Times Community News affiliate in 1998. Ventura Newspaper Inc. publishes the Ventura County Reporter, an
alternative weekly newspaper.
