PowerLinks, a programmatic native ad platform, this week announced it has raised a second “super seed” round of financing worth $2.75 million from private investors in the UK and Europe. This follows the company’s first seed round of $1.25 million in 2012, per a release. The company has now raised a total of $4 million.
With its open technology plugged into ad exchanges, networks, publishers, DSPs and SSPs and other digital ad players, PowerLinks claims to currently serve two billion ad impressions per month worldwide.
"This recent investment round will allow us to continue to innovate and contribute to the bright future of the native ad market," stated Kevin Flood, CEO and co-founder of PowerLinks.
More specifically, the company will use the money to
expand in the U.S. and invest in R&D efforts, per a release.
