Digital ad tech company AppNexus on Friday announced it has completed its acquisition of Open AdStream (OAS), an ad serving technology. Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed.
OAS was formerly known as Xaxis For Publishers. AppNexus’ acquisition of OAS was first announced on September 22, 2014 as part of a larger strategic relationship with WPP.
Included in that deal was WPP's $25 million investment in AppNexus. The $25 million was included in a larger funding round for AppNexus led by a Boston-based public equity and asset management firm total $110 million. AppNexus says the funding round is now complete.
