Visible Measures' Focus On Ad Tech Has Cost Human Jobs

Visible Measures, a Boston-based ad tech firm that runs a demand-side platform (DSP), recently raised $7 million in funding to focus on automation, but it came “at a human cost,” writes the Boston Business Journal.

The company currently employs 80 people across six offices including its Boston headquarters, down from 160 in August 2013,” the Business Journal writes.

The post notes that Brian Shin, founder and CEO of Visible Measures, says the shift toward programmatic is why the company has decreased its headcount.
