REVOLVING DOOR: Horizon Media Names Kyung Kim VP Digital Activation

Horizon Media continues to strengthen its digital leadership team by naming Kyung Kim Vice President of Digital Activation, effective immediately. This is a new position at the agency. Kim will jointly manage the agency’s digital activation practice with Ray Romero, also Vice President of Digital Activation. He and Romero will split oversight of Horizon's digital activation team of around 70 employees. Kim reports to Donnie Williams, Chief Digital Officer at Horizon Media. Kim has near twenty years of experience in the digital advertising industry. He most recently led digital global strategy and partnerships for the McDonald’s Global Media Network. Kim has experience working across multiple industry categories, on notable blue-chip brands that include Dell, State Farm Insurance, Turner Media Group, and Heineken. "Kyung embodies a great mix of the art and science needed to continue to push boundaries," says Williams. "Thought leadership in the digital media space is incredibly hard to find and our company prides itself on forward-thinking approaches that deliver value thru data insights and creativity. He’s realized success in the past deploying similar principles and we’re excited to add his thinking to the team."
