New! All Nippon Airways Unveils 'Is Japan Cool?' Pop-up In NYC

All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan’s largest airline, is trying to capitalize on the growing number of U.S. tourists visiting Japan (up 12% for first nine months of 2014) with the launch of a pop-up store's at New York’s Port Authority Bus Terminal and the relaunch of its “Is Japan Cool” website. The pop-up, which will be open seven days a week from Nov. 17 to Dec. 21 (but closed during the Thanksgiving holiday), is a portal into the “weird and wonderful world of Japan.”  Inside will be interactive displays and video walls, and representatives from ANA who will be on hand to answer questions about Japan. The relaunched website, with a new look and greater interactivity, offers visitors offers features about Japanese culture and traditions, shopping and cuisine.
