Rumble Extends Reach For Social Videos

Video creators who use Rumble.com’s video platform can now tap a wider audience via a new Rumble app. It enables video publishers to distribute social videos from their own smartphones across a range of platforms, including Web sites and Internet-connected TVs.

In addition to increasing their potential reach, the new Rumble app offers a number of features for video publishers to streamline their operations, including push notifications for breaking or trending short-form video, in-app channel subscriptions, general revenue reporting and video management.

Video owners can also use the app to monetize their digital videos through licensing and profit-sharing from rights management. Rumble is explicit about the fact that it doesn’t carry video advertising anywhere.

Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski explained: “The most important short-form video is being captured on smartphones. In order for Rumble to become top-of-mind for video creators, we need to make it easy for them to get content to us. This is our first step. The app is a one-stop-shop for video creators to reach all points of the web and television.”

Currently, Rumble claims a network of over 7,000 video creators, generating over 100 million video streams per month through various distribution partnerships with a number of partners, including AOL, MSN, Yahoo, the Discovery Channel, and others.

Altogether, it claims its distribution deals make it the largest online video network besides YouTube.

The new app is available through the Google Play Store and the Apple App store.
