Riding a wave of interest in messaging apps, video-messaging startup Glide Talk has secured $20 million at a valuation of $100 million, according to
The Wall Street Journal. The
Jerusalem-based startup currently claims about 10 million registered users. “However, according to some of the company’s investors it only has around one million active users,” WSJ
reports. “Glide allows users to record a video message and send it to one or more recipients in the same way that text-messaging apps work.”
