Ad tech firm AppNexus on Thursday announced the appointment of Jean-Christophe Conti as VP of sales and account management for EMEA publishers. He will oversee publisher sales in the EMEA region for AppNexus.

Conti has held several executive positions at Yahoo and Right Media, including serving as VP and head of publisher group for Yahoo Europe. Since 2009, Conti had led all partnerships in EMEA for the Yahoo display ad network, search affiliate network and Right Media platform and exchange, per a release.

The appointment comes just weeks after AppNexus reorganized internally to create four new business units under the AppNexus brand umbrella. One of the new units focuses on AppNexus’ publisher clients.

AppNexus also recently acquired Open AdStream (OAS), an ad serving technology, which was formerly known as Xaxis for Publishers.

“AppNexus is making a substantial, multi-year investment in the global publisher ad technology market,” stated Ryan Christensen, the company's GM of publishers.
