Ad Tech Leading The 'New' AOL

Advertising Age has posted an article noting that the "new" AOL is taking form with ad tech leading the charge.

“Executive departures and shifting management responsibilities have put AOL’s ad-tech division squarely in the driver's seat at the digital media company,” the post reads. “The changes began in September with the departure of AOL brand (premium) group CEO Susan Lyne and continued with the shifting of her lieutenants' responsibilities to the ad-tech side of the house.”

AOL plans to launch a multi-screen programmatic ad platform in early 2015 -- called ‘ONE’ -- to further bolster its ad tech division.
