*Update: An earlier version of this article had a quote from Tim Vanderhook, CEO of Viant, that has been removed. The quote was from an earlier version of Viant's official press release.

Interactive Media Holdings -- the parent company of Specific Media, Vindico, Xumo and Myspace -- is starting fresh in 2015. The company on Wednesday announced it has rebranded as Viant, Inc., and the group of tech firms it houses collectively comprise the company’s new cloud-based ad platform.

Viant’s new cloud-based ad platform is built on digital marketing technology from Vindico and Specific Media. Data from Xumo and Myspace, which Viant says contains data on over one billion individuals, is used for targeting.

The company pitches its cloud-based platform as a one-stop shop for advertisers; it consists of a data management platform, a media-buying platform and an analytics hub, per a release.

The rebranding comes less than three months after Viant added four new members to its c-suite.
