MediaVest USA, a division of Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG), is promoting three key executives to its executive leadership team. All three executives will be based in MediaVest’s New York headquarters, and will report directly to MediaVest CEO, Brian Terkelsen.

Melissa Shapiro, formerly EVP, group director, investment, is promoted to president, investment, where she will oversee investments across video. She replaces Christine Merrifield, who is leaving the agency to pursue other challenges.

Fran Pessagno is promoted to president, and will increase his client oversight responsibilities to include management of MediaVest’s Honda and Sprint relationships, in addition to continuing to oversee the agency’s Mondelez and Comcast relationships. Pessagno has been with MediaVest for over four years.
