Coca-Cola's
Super Bowl campaign focuses on making the Internet a positive experience rather than a forum where anyone can post negative comments about someone they may or may not know. The first video features
Danica Patrick (who I bet we'll see in GoDaddy's big game ad) and her personal experience with hurtful online taunts. Patrick describes what it's like to be a woman in a male-dominated sport and how
social media began as a fun, uplifting experience until she began reading negative posts about herself. Rather than feel bad, Patrick focuses on being a good role model and doing positive things for
others. "The Internet is what we make it. #MakeItHappy" closes the video,
seen here.
Wieden+Kennedy Portland created the
campaign.
