The DAS Group of Companies, part of Omnicom Group, confirmed Monday that it has acquired digital agency Torben, Lucie und die gelbe Gefahr (TLGG). Terms were not disclosed.
Based in Berlin, in addition to a menu of digital agency services, the shop also has a strategic consulting practice. Its clients include Astra, E.ON, HUK Coburg, Lufthansa and Spotify.
According to the firms, the deal gives TLGG the ability to draw from DAS’s data insight, technology and creative expertise, to expand its offering to clients, as well as gain access to DAS’s global network.
DAS clients will benefit from TLGG’s digital transformation skills and change management model, now accessible on a global scale.
TLGG will work in “close cooperation” with DAS’ CRM specialist Rapp, the firms said.
“TLGG is unique as an innovative digital change management company, and they bring tremendous insight to their clients,” said Dale Adams, chairman and CEO, DAS.
TLGG has grown from a start-up social media agency in 2008 to a strategic consulting and digital agency, with expertise in social customer relationship management (CRM), digital platforms and community management. It has won the Marketing Campaign Competition at the Midem conference in Cannes and the DMMA Online Star award in Germany.
Alexei Orlov, chief executive officer of RAPP, said: “TLGG’s leadership in strategic digital consulting and curated social media, coupled with RAPP’s strengths around the globe in data and technology solutions, will drive market leading innovations for our clients.”
Christoph Bornschein, Founder of TLGG, said: "With the global breadth and depth of The DAS Group of Companies, we can better deliver high-precision, high-impact brand and consumer digital engagement for current and future clients.”
