Atlanta Agency Ames Scullin O-Haire Reshuffles Management Team

In its 18th year independent Atlanta agency Ames Scullin O'Haire is expanding its management team with several new hires. Following the retirement of managing partner-strategy John Ames, the agency is adding agency veteran Jim Crone as partner and account leader. He will be joining two other new partners -- Steve Harding, director of engagement who has been with the agency since 2010, and Ryan Mikesell, creative director, who joined in 2008.

Of the management change, Ames Scullin O'Haire Managing Partner Patrick Scullin said: "While we're sad to see John Ames retire, we are happy to have new partners who have deep, proven expertise in the core disciplines of marketing strategy, creative and media. While the ad industry has changed tremendously with new technologies, agency consolidation and disciplines being unbundled and operating as separate profit centers, we think the best work still comes from a core team of experts working together to create work that touches emotions and motivates action. Technology changes, but basic human desires don't."

Crone joins the agency from Atlanta agency The Partnership, where he spent six years most recently as EVP, managing director. He has held management positions with entrepreneurial agencies Sparks Grove and Huey/Paprocki Advertising, and began his career working with industry legacy agencies LINTAS: Worldwide, Ogilvy & Mather, BBDO and J. Walter Thompson.
