The healthcare industry has the worst email security across industries, according to Agari. The company released its "State
of Email Trust 2014" report revealing that email security is not a part of the healthcare industry's modus operandi and therefore they don't have strong systems in place to prevent fraud. The
recent Anthem breach is a testament to this Agari research, which analyzed 6.5 billion emails sent in 2014. The study reported that an email from a healthcare provider is 4x as likely be spam
than an email from a social network.
