Digital media consultancy GershonMedia on Tuesday announced it is launching a programmatic ad unit to consult advertisers on today’s available ad tech.
GershonMedia may be rolling out a programmatic practice after the initial wave of excitement has passed, but Bernard Gershon, founder and president, has been involved in the programmatic space for years. He was a member of SpotXchange’s board of directors from 2011 to 2014, leaving shortly after RTL Group acquired 65% of the programmatic video ad exchange.
“The rapidly growing area of programmatic is shifting the digital media landscape and cannot be ignored,” stated Gershon. "The digital media space is being revolutionized yet again and there are a lot of questions. Media enterprises need to start the transition to programmatic, if they haven’t already.”
