The Brotherhood/Sister Sol Launches 'The Talk' PSA

talkpsa"Do we want one America ... or two?" asks a campaign for The Brotherhood/Sister Sol, a New York-based youth development organization involved in efforts to reform the NYPD's "stop & frisk" policies.  A 45-second PSA, "The Talk," seen here, shows the different discussions that black parents and white parents have with their kids regarding encounters with the police. A series of black parents tell their teenage sons how to react when stopped by the police: be respectful, keep your hands visible, and don't move suddenly. The spot ends with a white teenager leaving the house. His father tells him to reach out to the police if he's in trouble, because it's their job to help.  Viewers can visit TalkAboutTheTalk.org for more information and use the hashtag #TalkAboutTheTalk to be included in social media discussions. Saatchi & Saatchi created the campaign.
