Leo Burnett Takes Home Agency of the Year Addy Award

It's like the ADDY Awards go on year round, month after month, city after city. Oh wait, yeah -- that's exactly what happens. In fact, it's quite mind-numbing reading endless press releases about agency after agency winning some local ADDY thing. It's tiresome.

But...sometimes the agencies are big and so are the cities, and sometimes it's worth talking about. In this case, it's Chicago and Leo Burnett. The agency received the highest honor at the Chicago Advertising Federation's American Advertising Awards Wednesday night, securing the Agency of the Year award. In addition, Leo Burnett's client Procter & Gamble was awarded Client of the Year.

Of the win, Leo Burnett CCO Susan Credle said, "It is nice to have an evening where we all take a brief moment to celebrate the work being done by agencies in Chicago. The stronger this show is the stronger the ad community is, and when great work is being done by every agency in town, I can't think of a better way to attract and keep talent here in Chicago."
