Twilio is adding video services to both mobile and Web browsers. “As a result, the new video services like Periscope and Meerkat, which both offer ways to broadcast incidental personal videos,
could be just the start of a new rush to video,” The New York Times reports. “Someone building, say, a mobile game, could cheaply add the ability for players to view each other in a corner
of the screen.”
