Google FTC Email Exchange Reveals

BuzzFeed has obtained an email which shows how a senior lobbyist at Google pushed the FTC to release a public statement that would help the Silicon Valley giant deal with bad press. The email was sent after a Wall Street Journal article from 2012 that said that staff at the FTC’s bureau of competition recommended antitrust charges against Google.
