Dentsu Aegis Network digital agency Isobar has elevated Fred Saldanha to Chief Creative Officer for the Americas, a newly created post at the shop. Previously, Saldanha was Chief Creative Officer at Isobar Brazil, a position he held for three years.
In this new role, Saldanha will maintain creative leadership in Brazil, while expanding his focus to the U.S. market. His responsibilities will include setting overall agency creative direction and working with key clients.
Saldanha will remain based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and will travel between the offices he oversees on a regular basis.
Jean Lin, Global CEO, Isobar said: “Appointing one Chief Creative Officer across the Americas reflects our belief that in the digital world, traditional borders are really a thing of the past. In fact, cross-cultural insight and global thinking is at the core of success in the brand commerce era, where technology recognizes no barriers. Our daily mission at Isobar is to create Ideas Without Limits, and Fred is the embodiment of that mission.”
Saldanha has a pocketful of hardware to show for his work, including trophies from the London International Awards, D&AD, The Webby Awards and more than 35 Cannes Lions, for clients like FIAT, Coca-Cola, Forbes and Unilever.
